Switch 5G is a comparison and referral service for home internet. When you submit our form, we share the information you give us with internet service providers and their authorized sales partners so they can contact you about service at your address. This policy explains what we collect, who receives it, and how to opt out.

1. Who we are

Switch 5G ("Switch 5G," "we," "us," or "our") operates www.switch5g.com. We are an independent comparison and lead referral service. We are not an internet service provider, we do not own a network, and we do not set prices or activate service.

This policy applies to information we collect through our website, by telephone, and through our advertising. It applies to residents of the United States only; our services are not directed to individuals outside the United States.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

• ZIP code, which you enter to check availability in your area.
• Contact and identity information, including your first name, last name, telephone number, and email address.
• Consent records, including the date and time you agreed to be contacted, your IP address at that moment, and the exact wording of the disclosure shown to you.
• Anything else you tell us during a phone call, such as your service address, your current provider, or what you are looking for in a plan.

Information collected automatically

• Device and connection data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and general location inferred from your IP address.
• Usage data, such as the pages you view, how you arrived at our site, and how you interact with our forms.
• Advertising identifiers passed to us in the web address you arrive on, including click identifiers such as fbclid, gclid, ttclid, and msclkid, and campaign tags such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, and utm_term.

Information from others

We may receive information about you from advertising platforms, marketing partners, and the providers we refer you to, including whether a referral resulted in service being ordered.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government identification numbers, health information, precise geolocation, or other sensitive categories of personal information through this website. Please do not send them to us.

3. How we use information

• To check what internet service may be available in your area.
• To contact you by phone, text, or email about internet service options, including through automated dialing technology where you have consented.
• To refer you to internet service providers and their authorized sales partners.
• To create and keep records of the consent you provided, which we and our partners may rely on and may be required to produce.
• To measure and improve our advertising, including reporting conversions to advertising platforms.
• To detect and prevent fraud, invalid submissions, and abuse of our website.
• To comply with law and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. How we share information

This is the most important section of this policy. Our business is referring consumers to internet service providers. When you submit our form, we share the information you provided with one or more of the following:

• Internet service providers and their authorized sales partners, so they can contact you about service at your address. Once your information is with them, their own privacy policies govern how they use it, and we do not control what they do with it.
• Lead management and telephony vendors that receive, route, store, and dial the submissions we collect on our behalf.
• Service providers that host our website, deliver our email, verify contact information, and provide analytics.
• Advertising platforms, including Meta, for conversion measurement and audience purposes as described in section 6.
• Legal and corporate recipients, where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Because we are compensated by providers when a referral results in service, sharing your information for this purpose may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. See sections 7 and 8 for your rights and how to opt out.

5. Calls, texts, and your consent

By checking the consent box and submitting our form, you agree that Switch 5G and the providers and partners we refer you to may contact you at the telephone number you provided, including by automatic telephone dialing systems, artificial or prerecorded voice messages, and text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Message and data rates may apply.

We record the date, time, IP address, and disclosure language associated with your consent, and we may share that record with the providers and partners who contact you.

6. Cookies, pixels, and advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel, to understand how people use our site and to measure the performance of our advertising. These technologies may record page views, form interactions, and completed submissions, and may associate that activity with an advertising profile held by the platform.

We may share hashed identifiers, such as an irreversibly encoded version of your email address or phone number, with advertising platforms so they can attribute a conversion to an advertisement.

You can limit this activity by:

• Adjusting your ad preferences directly with the platform, for example in Meta's Ad Preferences settings.
• Using your browser's cookie controls or a private browsing window.
• Enabling a browser-based opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, which we honor as an opt-out of sale and sharing for the browser that sends it.
• Visiting the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org.

7. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Access and portability — to know what we have collected about you and to receive a copy.
• Correction — to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Deletion — to request that we delete your personal information.
• Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising — see section 8.
• Non-discrimination — we will not deny you service or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
• Appeal — if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

These rights are available to residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and others as those laws take effect. Residents of other states may still submit a request and we will respond consistent with applicable law.

We will verify your request by matching the information you provide against our records, and we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days, and may extend that period where permitted.

8. Do not sell or share my personal information

You may direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information, and to stop processing it for targeted advertising, at any time. To do so:

• Email privacy@switch5g.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share."
• Call (888) 920-6316.
• Enable Global Privacy Control in your browser, which we treat as an opt-out request for that browser.

Please include the phone number and email address you submitted so we can locate your record. An opt-out applies going forward. It does not require providers or partners who already received your information before your request to delete it, though you may contact them directly.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

9. How long we keep information

We keep the information you submit, and the associated consent record, for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy and to comply with our legal obligations. Because telephone consumer protection claims can be brought years after a call, we generally retain consent records for at least five years. We keep advertising and analytics data for shorter periods consistent with the platforms we use.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect, including encryption in transit and restricted access to submission data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our website is intended for adults age 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Other sites and changes to this policy

Our site may link to websites we do not operate, including provider websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

We may update this policy. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the site after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
